Karan Johar has started shooting for his next directorial endeavor 'Student Of The Year' Tuesday and it coincides with the birthday of director David Dhawan, whose son Varun is making his debut with the film.
Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan's youngest daughter Alia Bhatt will debut in Karan Johar's film which will launch David Dhawan' son Varun along with newbie Sidharth Malhotra.The troi have done several tests and the film goes on floors next year.
