NRI in UK.He bumps into Katrina Kaif (Dimple), who he’s already met 5 years back. The wedding is finalized and Ali Zafar comes India to marry with Katrina, who has already fallen in love with Imran Khan.How the two lovers get out of this pretty complicated situation, Read on!!
Kush is shocked to meet Dimple as he knows her as a wild, fun-loving, bold but endearing girl whom he had met five years ago on an excursion. The two families also approve of the liaison and so preparations for the marriage of Luv and Dimple begin in right earnest. Although the Agnihotris live in Dehradun, the marriage is scheduled to be held in Delhi where the Dixits stay. In the course of the preparations, Dimple and Kush fall in love with one another, a fact Dimple realises on the first day she goes out with Luv when he arrives in Delhi from London for the marriage. Dimple speaks her heart out to Kush who takes a little longer to realise that he too is in love with her.Dimple forces Kush to elope with her.
Star Performance:-
So far as the pefronmance of star are concerned Imran Khan has done comedy in a much more mature fashion than his other films. He is more confident in the comic scenes. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif looks good in the trendy look and endears herself to the audience.Her performance is absolutely fantastic. Katrina will also earn brownie points for her graceful dances. Ali Zafar has done a fine job. He looks very cute. Tina D’Souza stands her own, especially in the climax.
Story Script:-
Apart from Ali Zafar’s performance, not much. Zafar is outstanding and he’s the only reason the film was to-an-extent and should be watchable.Ali Abbas Zafar’s story is based on the age-old formula of a love triangle.However, the screenplay, also penned by Ali Abbas Zafar, keeps the audience involved and engrossed at all times.
The emotional points of the drama touch the heart, especially the scene where Katrina Kaif tells Imran Khan that she has fallen in love with him. Also the scene when Imran Khan feels miserable about falling in love with the girl whom he has selected as his brother’s wife touches heart by botoom.The dialogues are good and entertaining at the same time.The dialogues are good and entertaining at the same time.
The performances from the main lead (Imran, Katrina) disappoint big time. Not once do they get their comic timing right and Katrina, who until now was improving with each film, overdoes her Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani act. Imran Khan is clearly outshined, in every scene, by the brilliant Ali Zafar.
Direction:-
The Director Ali Abbas Zafar has handled the film in a mature way. He succeeds in keeping the audience engaged This is a first time for director, he has done a nice job.
On The whole:-
On the whole,Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is reasonable entertainment and dramaic comedy.this is a nice ,great and has a Good Direction , Acting, Comedy and the Glamour. A good Movie for all Class of People.
